The first Gillian Rose Memorial Lecture was delivered by Rebecca Comay. The title of the lecture was “Deadlines (literally)”.
Due to an emergency – an unexploded WWII bomb was discovered close to the original site requiring a University-wide evacuation – the event was hurriedly moved to an alternative venue. Unfortunately, in the course of this enforced move, no audio or visual recording was made.
